Dr. Koray Erdogan attended his high school at Bursa Anatolian High School and completed his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Hacettepe University.
After completing his medical degree, he went for his compulsory service in the Military.
After completing his compulsory military service, he started his practice at Marmara University’s Department of Thoracic Surgery as an assistant doctor.
In the year 2018, he was elected president of the World FUE Institute.
He is a member of the ESHRS European Society of Hair Restauration Surgery (since 2005), and ISHRS International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery(2007-2015).
Since 2103, he has been a member of the IAHRS International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons.
He also wrote the famous book ‘Practical Aspects of Hair Transplantation in Asians’ which was published under his name.
He conducts training and seminars for students and medical teams around the world in the field of FUE hair transplant.

He developed his own unique FUE system known as the “Sequential Technique” in the year 2004.
He showcased this “Sequential Technique” at many conferences across many countries such as in Spain, Italy, Malaysia, and India.
In 2016, he founded the World FUE Institute with the other authorities of the International Hair Transplant Society like Dr. Ron Shapiro, Dr. Jose Lorenzo, Dr. Jerry Wong, etc.
